Fall 2025/Spring 2026
Rates are assessed each semester.
Your program's tuition rate does not include program fees, including the Student Life fee, graduate and professional program fees or optional charges, such as housing, bookstore, parking, or other charges you incur. Learn more about cost of attendance at Financial Aid and Scholarships.
We offer tuition discounts based on residency, military service and age.
- Legal residents of these counties in Kansas are eligible for the same rate as Missouri residents through the Graduate Metro Rate: Atchison, Douglas, Franklin, Jackson, Jefferson, Johnson, Leavenworth, Miami, Osage, Shawnee and Wyandotte. Professional programs in dentistry, law, medicine and pharmacy do not qualify for the Graduate Metro Rate.
- Through the Midwest Student Exchange Program (MSEP), UMKC agrees to charge students no more than 150% of the in-state resident tuition rate for select graduate programs. Professional programs in dentistry, law, pharmacy and certain programs in medicine do not qualify for the MSEP rate.
