The rates include premiums for the plan underwritten by Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield as well as the University of Missouri - Kansas City administrative fee.

The Anthem Student Advantage plan does not automatically cover the cost of eye or dental care. We suggest you visit your eye doctor and dentist before you leave for UMKC. You can purchase supplemental eye and/or dental insurance as optional coverage directly with Anthem after you've been enrolled in your medical insurance plan.

If you are sponsored by your government or are on a visa other than F-1 or J-1, you might be eligible for an insurance waiver.
